End of the world

To all the people who are cracking jokes and laughing at the 21.12 myth.. sorry to say.. you have really mistaken.. the world ended even before that.. yes.. it did.. we fell short of our destiny.. the world ended on the 16^th of December!!! The day when the animal in you took control.. your mind conked out.. your humanity took a back a seat.. no no.. that’s the wrong way of putting it.. your humanity committed suicide.. and the brutal demon in you wanted to feed the pleasures of your disgusting body and soul.. Yes that was the end of the world..

Is this the first case about abuse to women..? Everyday..somewhere in this world.. be it Australia.. The United States.. Japan.. the United Kingdom..our very own motherland.. India.. be it big or small.. be it developed or under developed.. be it black or white.. some woman .. somewhere is being assaulted.. And here,  what do we do  about it.. We sit back in our living rooms.. read it on the newspapers.. see it on the television.. discuss about it..a pinch of anger.. a pinch of sorrow.. a pinch of sympathy.. how long does it last.. a minute.. a couple of minutes.. an hour.. a day.. a week maximum.. and then.. that’s it.. we are all to set for our next work.. we just move on..

But but.. do we ever think about the the family of the victim.. her life.. her future..how long is  that brutal incident going to last in their minds.. what impact does it have on their lives.. will she ever be able to get her feet  back on the ground and lead a normal happy life.. ?? How many of us think about it.. in this million odd population we can still hand count the number .. and I can bet on it.. !!

Who said education makes a person better.. who said only illiterate, uncivilized men involve in such vile acts.. Who said that all? In a country where tradition is so deep rooted.. culture is cherished and celebrated.. rites and rituals are given more importance than even life.. where morals and values run in our blood..the legacy of the family stepping down for one generation to the next.. where family bonding is not just taught but practiced.. where besides sweet, salt and spices added to your food..  compassion, love, humanity, affection are blended with the food that your mom had once fed.. if this outrageous .. horrendous incident can happen.. Then don’t you think we aren’t alive anymore..!!! The fluid flowing in our body is no more blood.. it is gutter!

Where do you think India stands in the world based on  violence? Don’t bother thinking.. it is just a mere number.. that number is not going to change anything in this beautiful country of ours.. So where is the problem.. why does this happen.. Is there an end to it.. The blame game goes for a complete circle! So there is no point in talking about that.. What is our solution.. Woah woah wait a minute.. India is facing bigger problems now.. from corruption to the Indian cricket ! They are more important now.. they have to discussed.. They have to be sorted out first.. Who cares about what happens to one girl in some town in this huge country.. Well I just have one question.. if this beautiful Mother India is going to let every child of hers succumb to physical and mental violence.. sooner or later … leaving half of her land barren.. without any of her children surviving.. then ...for who is this government going to work for?? When there are no people.. where is the question of democracy.. where is even the need for a government..???? A government is not set up for the people to fight for their personal egos or to think about why India is not playing well in the cricket matches..

All these were made for the people.. when  Cricket is to entertain.. the government is to protect.. !! It is high time that we remind our honourable government its actual purpose and its duties..

But wait…We do have proper laws to protect us.. but still we have a problem.. so where is the mistake ? Who breaks these laws?

We THE PEOPLE!!! People includes common man to the police.. and even  the President.. We break the laws … and we scream on top of our lungs for somebody ‘s justice.. what rights to do we have? Be it even the smallest of things.. If you just spit on the road.. you have broken the law.. and you have committed a crime.. and yes you are CRIMINAL.. And what rights does a criminal have to fight for justice? Whether it is big or small.. a crime is a crime.. and you are a CRIMINAL! When your mind allows you to break a small simple law.. it would definitely encourage you someday to commit a crime as disgusting as this..It is the common human attitude..nope I don’t wana even use the word ‘human’ anymore.. it is a common attitude..  that everything is fine as long as it doesn’t happen in your household.. What happens behind the closed doors of your house is none of your business..

We keep our eyes .. mouth .. ears and our sensitivities shut!!! And what do we gain from it?? Nothing.. it is not the peace of mind.. Ignorance is not going to give you a serene calm life.. It is going to inflict pain.. its ruthless claws are going to threaten you everyday.. yes it is going to kill you everyday.. It gives you FEAR!!! You will die suffering the from the pangs of fear!

Every human is made of bones.. flesh and blood.. Pain is common to all.. So you hurt somebody today.. and you inflict pain on them.. please remember you are composed of the same things.. and you are in no way immune to pain.. the same can happen to you any time..

If there is a little bit of “HUMAN” left in “MAN” .. I m appealing to you.. we are not asking you to worship us .. like Godess Laksmi.. Godess Parvati.. Godess Saraswathi.. or Virgin Mary.. we are not asking you to protect us.. we are not asking you to go out of your way and help women.. we are just asking you to let us live in peace..we are not asking your permission.. we are just emphasizing our rights.. especially to the ones who have forgotten.. we have the right to live a normal life just as any other living being on earth!!!

Till the day the humanity returns and takes its place in every soul on earth.. we are just cadavers roaming around …and the Earth is nothing but a ball.. a ball revolving to just accomplish its function.. a ball which is slowly burning to ashes in the flame of violence and brutality!!!!

Yes the world has ended for many a million like me!!
