Soulmates - A myth??

            Pick your timeturner.. spin the wheel.. go back in time.. back to your fairy tale days.. The prince comes with a shoe.. finds the perfect match.. and there you go.. Cindrella found her prince.. and they lived happily thereafter ..*If only life were all that easy.. sigh!* but BAAMMM *reality check* we live in a real world..with  people who fear for their family, society, friends and at last fear of themselves..  In this chaotic world of ours do soul mates really exist?? Is there a Prince Charming or Princess Charming waiting for you? A match for you made in heaven.. existing??? Oh boy! Wake up .. Nothing in the world is tailor made for you..

            So what is all this tizzy about soul mates? Two people with same taste.. same ideologies.. same mindset.. same goals are soul mates. Well , that’s subjective.. Some people would say people whose imperfections match perfectly are soul mates.. In my opinion , its neither! When you find a person with exactly the same interests , ideologies and mindset as yours.. it will be astonishing.. overwhelming..  exciting.. but over passing days.. you will start reproaching it.. Its human mentality! How much ever you cherish and appreciate somebody who is like you.. deep down there.. your alter ego.. would simply despise the fact! Nobody likes having a clone or duplicate of themselves..  Every individual loves that uniqueness about himself / herself..  On the flip side.. when you find a person whose imperfections match perfectly with yours.. you will appreciate it.. you will find solace in it.. but in due course.. you will find fault with it.. you will pick up fights over it.. Again human psychology.. We are programmed to overlook the differences of opinion only for a while.. Nobody likes being contradicted for ever!

            So there is exists no soul mates?? Woah.. that’s too early to jump to a conclusion.. Out there.. in this huge World of ours.. we meet a thousand people a day.. we may like a few .. we may hate a few.. we may fall in love with a few..  But the big question here is.. out of those few you fall in love with who is the one for you?  “THE ONE FOR YOU” doesn’t jump  from heaven.. and holds a card for you..  You cant go searching for that one either..  What is the solution then? Well, the one for you.. may or maynot have the same tastes , ideologies, goals as yours.. nor may he/ she be your total opposite.. Every person on earth connects with every other person on some level or the other.. The ones which are ready to hang on there despite all the differences.. emotional drain outs.. drama .. tornadoes and down pours.. is THE ONE for you..

            As the days roll by.. your moods go for a full circle.. starting from happiness to anger to madness to silence to depression to tears to loneliness to suffocation to happiness again..  people walk in and walk out.. but only a few people choose to stay put with you.. and if among those few is the one you love.. then he or she is THE ONE for you..  If you can never let go of that one person no matter what.. if you think its all worth hanging on.. then just don’t let go ! You have found your  SOUL MATE .. your PRINCE or PRINCESS CHARMING.. But but.. and here come the buts.. In the pretext of hanging on and fighting for that love .. in the wildest of days .. in the stormiest of situations..if  even at one instance you lose yourself completely.. you are become somebody who you are not.. then trust me , its just not worth it! Changing yourself for the one you love is not wrong.. but the overdose is lethal..

            When even taking those baby steps .. learning to walk comes with a lot of difficulty.. how can the one who is gonna walk with you for the rest of your life come so easily..  When you make up your mind and decide if he/ she is the one..then its definitely worth a fight.. worth a wait..

            No two people in this world are meant to be.. People are born.. and people die.. in the journey in between.. love happens.. and when it does .. it leaves a few bruises here and there.. and when you chose to stand up tall despite all the bruises .. then love sure is going to unfold its tent and camp in your life..
